The Alliance for Responsible Citizenship is “an international community with a vision for a better world where every citizen can prosper, contribute and flourish,” according to their website. Many people in the so-called freedom movement view the organisation as counterweight to the World Economic Forum and have been rushing to praise it and join its ranks, particularly those on the political right. So will the ARC have our favourite pantomime villain, Mr Schwab, heading back to his Alpine home, where he will give up his attempt at world domination and live out the remainder of his days as a sad, failed tyrant, forever counting his piles of money stacked as high as the mountains that surround him?
ARC was supposedly founded in June 2003 by Jordan Peterson, John Anderson and Baroness Stroud, which is odd as, according to Companies House, it was originally founded in December 2016 under the name Prosperity U.K. by the financier Oliver Plunkett. Plunkett is CEO of Ocean Infinity, a marine technology company. Prosperity UK existed until January 2023 but there appears to be no other record of it anywhere on the internet.
When looking at the list of members on ARC’s advisory board, the first thing one notices, is the name Legatum Institute. This is a London based think tank that aims to advance the education of the public in national and international political, social and economic policy.
The members of the advisory board that are part of Legatum are Alan McCormick, Christopher Chandler and Baroness Philippa Stroud. Legatum also fund the philanthropic ventures the END fund and the Luminos Fund. The former was created to eradicate tropical diseases and the latter to provide education to the under privileged. Worthy causes one would think. However, The END fund received 20 million dollars from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Luminos Fund received almost half a million dollars from the Gates Foundation. Legatum, itself, received 200,000 dollars from Bill and Melinda gates.
Legatum is the funder behind GB News and Alan McCormick, ARC advisory board member, is the chairman of GB News. The links to GB news do not stop there, however. Dame Helena Morrisey, advisory board member, is director of All Perspectives, a company that also funds GB News. Paul Marshall, another board member of ARC, is a major investor in GB News. Marshall founded the hedge fund company, Marshall Wace. 50% of the investment for the company came from George Soros. His social circle includes Chelsea Clinton and Kate Middleton. Paul Marshall and Alan McCormick are also on the board All Perspectives, with Dame Helena Morrisey.
Apparently, ARC “believe a community is strengthened by its ability to nurture the free exchange of ideas.” Strange, then, that GB news sacked a number of their own presenters for stressing their views on their channel. Not only that, but they then hired Boris Johnson to front a show.
For the Telegraph, Daily Sceptic and Spectator crowd who adhere to the idea that lockdown was just due to a cock-up and still see Boris as a decent genial chap, if somewhat flawed, this is probably a good thing. To the rest of us, who see Johnson as the lying tyrant who locked us down, destroyed our freedoms, prevented us from seeing our dying loved ones and then used psychological warfare to terrorise and censor us, I would suggest, we would rather see him behind bars than behind a GB News desk. He certainly isn’t someone that would be regarded as a person who ‘nurtured our free exchange of ideas.’
Let us not forget that Boris, the warmonger, also went to Ukraine and told Zelensky he wasn’t allowed to have a ceasefire with Russia, before the war even commenced. His intervention has resulted in the death of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and tens of thousands of Russians.
On the subject of warmongers, ARC’s advisory board is armed to the teeth with them. They have four US politicians – Dan Crenshaw, Mike Johnson, Mike Lee, and Vivek Ramaswamy- who are all for death and destruction.
Crenshaw, who serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, has supported arms to Ukraine and has used fearmongering to support this, suggesting Putin wants to nuke the west. He was against the withdrawal of US troops from Syria and supports giving more aid to Israel.
Johnson, as House speaker, pushed through a bill giving 14.3 billion dollars to Israel in its war in Gaza.
Lee is another one of the ‘Israel has the right to defend itself’ politicians but never condemns the current ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.
Ramaswamy is a presidential candidate with links to Big Pharma, promotes the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and approves of Israel taking out suspected Hamas terrorist in foreign countries.
All four are anti-abortion, believing it is murder, but have no criticism of Israel killing thousands of children in Gaza.
In addition to the US politicians, ARC has a US citizen war hawk on their advisory body. Her name is Rebeccah L Heinrichs. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson institute specialising in US defence policy. She has said the US needs to “expand and rebuild an American defense-industrial base that has gone weak since the Cold War.” She is very enthusiastic about sending weapons to Ukraine and Israel and, in fact, anywhere that would antagonise Russia.
Niall Ferguson - Wikipedia, the well-known author and columnist and US citizen, is a staunch supporter of the military solution. He was a supporter of the illegal Iraq war and is an advocate of the expansion of the US military via conscription. He is friends with David Cameron, once attended a Bilderberg meeting and supported the rapid deployment of covid vaccines in the US. He is, of course, in support of Israel’s invasion of Gaza.
He is hardly someone that is, in ARC’s words, searching for ‘a better world where every citizen can prosper, contribute and flourish,’ if he is willing to force young men to fight and die in the name of the globalists.
We also have a number of Australian politicians on the advisory board. There is John Howard, former Prime minister, who sent Australian troops into Afghanistan and Iraq. After retiring, he then joined a speaker’s agency with fellow war hawks, Tony Blair, Madeline Albright and Colin Powell. He also praised the tyrannical lockdowns in Australia.
Tony Abbot, another former Australian prime minister, is on the board. He is a supporter of arming Ukraine. He supplied arms to Ukraine in 2014, whilst the Ukrainian army were bombing Russian civilians in the Donbass region.
The Australian Shadow Defence Minter, Andrew Hastie, also appears on the advisory board list. He is all for giving tanks and jets to Ukraine to prolong the conflict even longer.
We also have our own war hawks in the UK parliament represented on ARC’s advisory board. We have Danny Kruger, who, in a parliamentary speech, called Putin a rat and then, resorting to fearmongering to justify supporting Ukraine, constantly said Putin could use nuclear warheads against the UK. He also ruled out the idea of a ceasefire in Gaza and conflated pro-Palestinian protests as support for terrorism.
Then we have Miriam Cates MP, who has declared that, ‘Israel’s war on Nazism must never be restrained,’. Presumably she is not referring to the Ukrainian Nazis who her party obviously supports. She is another who deliberately conflates pro-Palestinian protests with support for terrorism and want the police to investigate them.
Of course, we must not forget, ARC founder’s, Jordan Peterson’s commentary on the Gaza situation, saying that the ‘Palestinian’s are playing the role of victims’ to get support, ignoring the fact that thousands have been massacred by Israeli forces. Combine that with his ‘give em hell’ tweet to Netanyahu and you see how ARC’s founder really lives up to their idea of a ‘vision for a better world where every citizen can prosper, contribute and flourish.’
In addition to the war hawks and media representatives we have a few interesting people. We have Riva Melissa Tez, a self-proclaimed transhumanist. She has said she is interested in’ advancing scientific discovery, whether that be through human intelligence amplification, artificial intelligence or rewiring the education system.’ She says of transhumanism, “It’s a movement to upgrade the human animal with technology.” She also is excited that, “Transhumanism is urging bio-hacking policy in health care.” Sounds wonderful - ARC’s very own Yuval Noah Harari.
We have Magatte Wade, a seller of skin care products, who is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader which is strange considering ARC are supposed to be the nemesis of the WEF.
Also on the list, there is Bjorn Lomborg, an economist who is supposedly somewhat sceptical about the imminent climate apocalypse. It is odd, then, that he appears to be good friends with Bill Gates, even co-writing articles with him, supporting the UN’s sustainability goals. He is also in favour of one of Gate’s pet projects, geo-engineering. Moreover, the Gates Foundation has donated 269,000 dollars to Lomborg’s Copenhagen Consensus think tank.
I am sure there are some good, decent people involved with ARC, who wholeheartedly believe they are involved in a project that is beneficial to people. However, after examining some of the big players, it would appear that ARC is, for the most part a bunch of politicians, rich elitists, war hawks, media moguls, lockdown pushers, people who are friends with and take money from Bill Gates, who don’t much care for free speech, a billionaire who started up his firm with the help of Soros money, a young WEF leader and a transhumanist who are all going to make everything better for you because what they say is in your best interests.
ARC and WEF just seem to be two very ugly heads on the same globalist body. As the WEF promote a more leftist ideology and ARC is clearly on the right, maybe it would be better to say they are two wings on the same war hawk.
Thank you for clarifying.
